Today my friend Heather came back to work after maternity leave.  She had to leave her little baby with a sitter so she could come back to work to help support her family.  I don't know that any child really realizes how much their parents sacrifice for them until the children become parents themselves.  Heather's pain and sadness was palpable today.  She wanted to be with Emma, her little bundle of joy. We wanted to make Heather's first day back as fun as possible.  We have missed spending time with our friend at work everyday.  We had a bbq to welcome her back and to let her know how much we love her!
